Beat of Wings

Beat of Wings is an international art collective founded by Jelle Warendorff and Aline Kristin Mohl, currently residing in Austria, Holland and Belgium.

The collective aims for a seamless integration of different art forms such as music, contemporary dance, animation, film and performance.

BoW’s debut album ‘To Whom it may Concern’, surprises with electrifying beatz combined with intense melodies. It was released in March 2010, building a creative base, for more to grow.

“When I see something beautiful, I want to make something beautiful.”

Beauty is for us everything that tears you loose from everyday's dull perceptions. In our world conditioned behavior, we are lured into a false sense of safety that makes us numb. But change the given parameters and you will trigger a sincere and honest reaction.

That’s what we try- To create space: moments in between.

Space to breath and moments of purity- simple but exceptional.

These are the moments when we are writing down the ideas of the music, the first words of the lyrics. A movement traveling trough space, a laugh from far away.

In the ideal case, these feelings travel with our art & arrive when BoW touches somebody.
